Quepos Costa Rica
 Quepos
is the gateway to Manuel Antonio National Park. There are
numerous bars and restaurants in the city, and a vivacious nightlife. Located
fewer than 100 miles (160 km) from San José, on the Central Pacific coast of
Costa Rica, are the very popular towns of
Quepos
and much smaller
Manuel Antonio.
The town is named for the native indians
Quepos that inhabited the place in the colonial era. A picturesque town with a
small bit of the colonial era wall left. Quepos offers fishing for numerous
varieties of fish, especially Pacific Sailfish. Quepos, Costa Rica has
long held an international reputation as one of the hottest spots in the world
for big game fishing.
Quepos
is a small city situated on the central Pacific coast. It is directly
south of San Jose approx. 3 hour drive by car. Or a 20 minute
flight.

Pacific coast. Sailfish are the main targets for most anglers and they are
seldom disappointed. Offshore fishing is normally out in blue water. Once in the
blue water anglers catch Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna, Dorado and Wahoo. Inshore
fishing is done around rocks, reefs, river mouths and estuaries. Anglers catch
